Hello, I’m Katy, the founder of The Aesthetic Lounge Cairns.
With over 18 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 7 years as a Cosmetic Nurse, I am also a clinical trainer for Allergan—one of Australia’s leading pharmaceutical companies—as well as a trainer for a prescribing team for aesthetic practitioners. For the past seven years, I’ve specialised in aesthetic treatments, instilling confidence in all my clients. My goal is for you to leave every visit glowing and feeling even better than when you arrived.
Over the past seven years, I’ve witnessed the effects of Cairns harsh climate on my client’s skin. 365 days of sun exposure contributing to premature aging, pigmentation, and skin laxity. That’s why we’ve expanded our services to include advanced skin treatments and medical-grade skincare. I’m a Dermal Therapist and Laser Technician with three years of experience in the skin and beauty industry. My expertise lies in skin health, with a strong focus on acne and the internal and external factors that affect the skin. Acne is my true passion—I love educating clients on the root causes of their breakouts and creating personalized plans to achieve long-term skin health.
I believe that radiant skin starts from within, which is why I take a holistic approach, addressing both internal wellness and targeted skin treatments. I’m also committed to ongoing education, staying up to date with the latest advancements in skin science to provide the best possible care.
