Women's Health in Cairns: Support Through Every Stage
Perimenopause, menopause and weight management consultations, in a calm and entirely judgement-free space.
Too many women are told their symptoms are simply part of getting older. We think you deserve more than that. Our women's health consultations give you unhurried time with an experienced Registered Nurse to talk about what's really going on, and a clear path to the right support, whether that sits with us or with a specialist we liaise with on your behalf.
We support women of all ages, at every stage: early cycle changes, the perimenopausal years, menopause and post-menopausal health, and the metabolic and weight changes that often come with them.
How we can help
What we support
Our role is assessment, education, coordination and ongoing support, always within our scope of practice, and always alongside your wider healthcare team.
Perimenopause support
The years before your last period can bring changes long before anyone calls it menopause: disrupted sleep, shifting moods, cycle changes, weight redistribution and skin that suddenly behaves differently. We help you make sense of what you're experiencing and map out what support is available.
Menopause & beyond
Menopause is a stage of life, not a problem to be hidden. We talk openly about symptoms, priorities and options, and coordinate with appropriately qualified medical practitioners for anything that requires prescribing or ongoing medical management.
Weight management consultations
A considered, non-judgemental conversation about metabolic health, habits, body composition and realistic goals. Where a medical pathway may be appropriate, we refer to and work alongside a doctor, and we never make promises about outcomes.
Skin & wellbeing through change
Hormonal change affects skin: dryness, laxity, adult breakouts, pigmentation in our high-UV climate. As a skin clinic, we can look after that side of things while your broader health is supported by the right professionals.
Your consultation
How it works
Four straightforward steps, at your pace.
01
A conversation, not a checklist
Your first appointment is time set aside to talk. What's changed, what's bothering you, what you've already tried, and what matters most to you right now.
02
Understanding your picture
We take a careful history and, where relevant, review measurements and lifestyle factors so we can see the whole picture rather than one symptom in isolation.
03
Working with the right people
Where your needs sit outside our scope, we liaise with GPs, women's health doctors, dietitians, pelvic health physiotherapists and psychologists so you're supported by the right expertise, independently and professionally.
04
An honest plan
You leave with a clear, prioritised plan: what we can help with here, what belongs with another practitioner, and what to expect next. No pressure, no upselling.
Why women choose to start here

Working alongside your healthcare team
Women's health is rarely one practitioner's job. Some concerns need a GP or women's health doctor, some need a dietitian, a pelvic health physiotherapist, an exercise physiologist or a psychologist. We liaise with expert health professionals so that each part of your care is addressed independently by the right person, with you at the centre of it.
Any treatment requiring a prescription is provided only after assessment by an appropriately qualified practitioner. Because Australian regulations prevent us from advertising, naming or pricing prescription treatments, those discussions happen privately in your consultation.
This page is general information only and is not medical advice. Individual results vary and no outcome can be guaranteed. If you have urgent or serious symptoms, please see your doctor.
